General forum trade/sale rules
Quote from Travis on September 28, 2023, 2:15 amEveryone on here should be vouched for by an existing member and admin as a honest, drama-free trader, and all-in-all genuine die-cast collector.
With that being the case, there shouldn't be a need to outline the behavior standards, but we will just to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Most importantly we desire to have a fair and fun place for collectors to get together and help each other out. Maybe you can't find a certain car because the assortment just didn't drop in your area and you don't want to pay eBay for it. Our goal is to provide a place where you can look for, find, and trade for it with as little worry as possible. We will not stand for people attaching unreasonable trade values or prices to their items. That does not mean that you must trade/sell at store retail, we only mean that a super is worth a super. None of this "well mine is going for $80 on eBay and yours is only $50, so you're going to have to throw in some extra."
We do not stand for scalping. Everyone has enough competition in their hunting area, we don't want to go online and see another person flaunting their hoard. Latest finds are cool, even if it's multiple supers in one go, just remember that greed is one of the 7 deadly sins and karma is a bitch.
Do your best to hold up your end of the sale/trade in a timely manner. We are not expecting you to pay for your purchase before you buy your family's dinner, or to prioritize getting to the post office when you mom is in hospital. Shit happens, and we are all human. If something comes up, have the common decency to let the other person know what's up.
